Overview
The 1st Workshop on Human-LLM Collaboration for Ethical and Responsible Science Production (SciProdLLM 2025) is set to take place on December 23 and 24, 2025, in Mumbai, India. This event will be co-located with the IJCNLP-AACL 2025 conference, providing a significant platform for researchers to explore the integration of large language models (LLMs) into scientific workflows. The workshop aims to foster discussions around ethical practices and human-centered approaches in utilizing LLMs for scientific endeavors.
Background & Relevance
As artificial intelligence continues to evolve, the role of large language models in research processes is increasingly prominent. These models have the potential to enhance various stages of scientific production, from idea generation to writing and peer review. However, the ethical implications of their use necessitate careful consideration. This workshop seeks to address these challenges by promoting responsible collaboration between humans and LLMs, ensuring that the benefits of AI are harnessed without compromising scientific integrity.
